My dentist found two cavities filled and I recommend a desensitization treatment for each tooth that are not covered by my dental insurance. Rip off request for further details. Sounds like a scam. I have never suggested that even if I had the sensitivity to the cold heat. They are perhaps not in Canada, where most dentists are late are you?
